Attempted Free Energy Device

I know that free energy devices are impossible. But that didn’t stop me from trying to create a concept.

The concept I’m using is pretty basic. There are three parts to the device, bottom magnet, magnetic shield and top magnet. When you move the magnetic shield the top magnet begins to see the bottom magnet and tries to escape the repulsive field. In other words the top magnet follows the magnetic shield. When applying force to the magnetic shield, there is no resistance, however the top magnet puts out a lot of force.

This seems like a good idea, however there is a flaw. When the magnetic shield is in motion, it compresses the bottom magnetic field in the front and then the field decompresses when it comes out the other side. When there is a top magnet following the magnetic shield, the magnetic field that comes out of the shield pushes on the top magnet and doesn't return the force back into the shield. Therefor the energy isn’t returned to the magnetic shield and is instead transferred to the top magnet.
